Greek School Events, Announcements & Fundraisers

Join us in celebrating OXI Day, enjoy some treats, and support the school! The Greek School will be holding fundraiser on Sunday, October 26^th. They’ll be selling Spanakopita, Tiropita, and Milopita for just $5 each.

Our OXI Day Celebration on Sunday, October 26^th is fast approaching! Please read the information below carefully, as there will be a change to our schedule and the church may be busier than usual due to the St. Demetrios’ Feast Day.

Arrival

• Students arrive at 11:00 a.m.
• Please drop off your child’s belongings (coat, lunch bag, water bottle ) in the classroom and have them meet their teachers in the hall.
• Each class will have assigned benches, so make sure your child sits with their class.

Class Photos (11:00–11:30 a.m.)

• We will take class pictures between 11:00 and 11:30.
• If your child is receiving Communion during that time, their class photo will be taken later in the day.

Church Service (Doxology)

• We plan to enter the church at approximately 11:40 a.m. for the Doxology.
• After the service, students will return to their classrooms for a quick practice and lunch time.

Lunch

• If you have pre-ordered pies, please make sure the food is brought directly to your child’s classroom.

Start Time

• We will begin the celebration as soon as the church empties and everyone is seated with their refreshments and food

Student Attire

Students should wear:

• White tops and blue bottoms
• No boots, please

At the end of the celebration, all students will receive a treat courtesy of the Parents Council. We look forward to seeing everyone there and celebrating our students’ successes together!
