Whether you are just discovering us or have been here since the first brick was laid in 1957, our goal remains the same – to sustain and promote our Greek heritage for current and future generations.
Our St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Greek School, Philoptochos Society, along with other Hellenic organizations, come together in the spirit of sustaining a culture that our ancestors worked tirelessly to preserve. It is hard work that requires us to listen more than we speak, seek out ways in which to show gratitude and find meaningful connections in our ever increasingly diverse and beautiful community. We are up for the challenge. As your 2024 Hellenic Council, we will work hard to ensure that we apply the governance and leadership worthy of the role that has been entrusted to us. Together with our community, we work towards progress, not perfection; humility, not arrogance; empathy not indifference. We are excited for what is to come for our proud Hellenic Community.
