Notice of Elections
The Board of Elections of our community announces that the election of five new council members will take place on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the Hellenic Community Hall.
The voting will begin after the Divine Liturgy and conclude at 5:00pm. There are 5 available positions for the Council, which will receive a 3-year term. Polls will close promptly at 5:00 pm followed by an immediate, public count of the ballots.
To vote:
- Members must be paid members in good standing through the current calendar year (2025).
- Members enrolled in the Community register but delinquent in their financial obligations may vote by meeting their financial obligations for the current and two preceding years, at any time prior to balloting.
- A new member of the community may vote in the general election if he or she has been enrolled at least three months prior thereto.
- Absentee Voting:

- Members in good standing who cannot vote in person on December 7, 2025 may either mail in their ballot to 1 Tamarac Crescent SW, Calgary AB T3C 3B7) or deliver it by hand. All ballots must be placed in a sealed envelope clearly addressed to the Board of Elections. The voter’s full name and address must appear on the outside of the envelope so that membership status can be verified. Click here to print your absentee ballot.
- Ballots must be received no later than the end of Divine Liturgy on December 7, 2025. Ballots will be opened at 5PM by Father Thomas.
- Electronic ballots are not available at this time.
- Members in good standing are able to vote for up to five (5) of the following candidates:
