Sunday School
This past Sunday, our St. Demetrios held the first-ever God-parent Sunday! What a blessing to witness all the Godparents with their godchildren, celebrate the Divine Liturgy and receive Holy Communion together. We hope to make this an annual event and grow on the level of participation. Thank you to Father Thomas for sharing his Godparent prayer, which the Sunday school teachers turned into bookmarks for the children to gift their Nouno’s and Nouna’s.

Met Youth Event
Join Met Youth Calgary for skating and hot chocolate at the Bowness Park Lagoon (8900 48 Ave NW) on Friday February 25th, from 6-8 pm! Skates will be available for rent at the park on a first come first serve basis. Don’t forget to invite your family and friends for some winter fun!
Adult Greek Dance
The next practice for Adult Dance is Wednesday, March 2nd @ 6pm in the main community hall. Drop-ins are more than welcome to attend! Bring a non-perishable food item for the Food Bank or $5 whenever you’d like to attend.
